“Ms Sarah is an amazing teacher! She is gentle, creative, encouraging and professional. My daughter, who has really struggled with understanding fractions has been receiving tutoring in Mastering Fractions (shorter session) for several weeks now, and we are currently in continuing sessions. Ms Sarah comes to each session prepared with a lesson that is clearly designed to meet my daughter where she is, and to move her forward. I am amazed at how thoroughly she knows what step is next on the continuum and when and how to introduce it. She uses visuals to introduce the concepts and helps my daughter to verbalize the concepts and "prove" them with visuals at the end. She moves her from visuals to pure numbers and is able to keep her engaged the whole time. I can't say enough positive things about Ms Sarah. She is an excellent teacher in both Math and Writing. Both of my daughters benefited tremendously from their work with her.
